The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series heads to the Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch on June 17-18 for the tenth edition of the American SpeedFest in the United Kingdom. The most popular event on the schedule promises another unique show with fantastic action on and off the track. With four races on the 1.938 kilometer Indy Circuit, Europe’s best NASCAR drivers will compete in the “Pure Racing” style of the best touring car series in the old continent. The Brands Hatch Indy Circuit is located approximately 50 kilometers southeast of the British capital of London. Opened in 1950, Brands Hatch is one of the most traditional venues in the United Kingdom, with a rich history in motorsports. The rollercoaster-like Indy Circuit, with its six turns and no real straightaways, is considered one of the biggest challenges on the calendar, despite its short length of 1.938 kilometers. With London so close by, the track is the perfect solution to mix a trip to the British capital with some great racing.
After the season opener at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, both championships will continue with rounds three and four. In EuroNASCAR PRO, Speedhouse owner Lucas Lasserre leads the standings following a phenomenal win in Sunday’s race in Spain. Martin Doubek and Marc Goossens round out the top-3, while Anthony Kumpen and Frederic Gabillon complete the top-5. In EuroNASCAR 2, Vladimiros Tziortzis made the perfect sweep in Spain to lead by ten points from 2022 runner-up Alberto Naska. The duo is followed by Paul Jouffreau, Gil Linster and Patrick Schober.

In addition, the races will be broadcast live on Motorsport.tv, the MotorvisionTV app and various TV services around the world. Race highlights will be available on the EuroNASCAR YouTube channel at the end of both race days, with extended highlights in English to follow on Thursday, June 22. Extended highlights will also be available in foreign languages on various TV channels in many countries.
Support series and attractions
Alongside the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, a total of five support series will take to the track: Corvette Anniversary Race, UK Legends Cars, Bernie’s V8s and Historic Outlaws, SpeedFest Silhouettes and Pickup Truck Championship. Combined, there will be a total of 21 races on the track on Saturday and Sunday.
Off the track, American SpeedFest X will feature attractions for racing enthusiasts and the whole family with an American car show and country festival stage, county fair, monster truck ride, Corvette anniversary, trade zone, Victory Lane fanzone for the EuroNASCAR podium ceremony, food court, USA vs. Japan drift paddock and open paddock and NASCAR Whelen Euro Series garages. One of the highlights will be the display of the NASCAR Next Gen Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans one week prior to the American SpeedFest.
