Germany saw the first repeat round winner with RDV Competition’s #3 Ford Mustang took its second win of the season. The efforts of Paul Jouffreau and Patrick Schober in EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 gave the French team the overall lead, but their rival Hendriks Motorsport with its #50 Toyota Camry is only four points behind and will give everything they have in Belgium to conquer the title.

After some early misfortunes, RDV Competition has bounced back with two second place finishes and two wins. Jouffreau and Schober are two talented youngsters and their fast pace makes them one of the strongest driver combinations on the grid. The French team is the reigning Teams champion with the old format and wants to make it two in a row and conquer the new format as well. They would have to beat their old adversary Hendriks Motorsport in the battle. The Dutch team knows how to win the Teams Championship as they chase a record fifth title with the #50 team driven by Liam Hezemans and Gil Linster.

German team Marko Stipp Motorsport left their home round with smiles on their faces after they took third in the Endurance Teams Championship with Thomas Krasonis in the #46 Chevrolet Camaro. The #46 team is 25 points behind the leader, but remains a contender thanks to the double points system. Speedhouse’s #33 Ford and Team Bleekemolen’s #72 Toyota complete the top-5 with the CAAL Racing‘s #54 Chevrolet driven by reigning EuroNASCAR PRO champion Gianmarco Ercoli in sixth. Team Bleekemolen’s #69 Toyota, Hendriks’ #7 Ford, Marko Stipp’s #48 Chevrolet and Speedhouse’s #14 Ford rounds out the top-10.

Only one round of four races are left to decide and crown the inaugural overall winners of the Endurance Teams Championship format. Nine teams are separated by 50 points and with 80 points on the line, any of them can still win the battle when the cars hit the track located in the woods of Limburg on 12-13 October for the exciting EuroNASCAR Finals.
