Dominique Schaak took the microphone in front of 16,500 fans in Oschersleben to announce his contract extension with Bremotion – The Halle native will continue to chase the EuroNASCAR 2 title in 2025
The 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season is not over yet, but teams and drivers are already working on their programs for 2025. The first driver to commit to the series and his Bremotion team was Dominique Schaak. The Rookie Trophy contender took to the microphone during one of the crowded grid walks at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben to announce his contract extension for the 2025 EuroNASCAR 2 season. 16,500 German fans applauded as the local hero announced his plans for the upcoming season.
Schaak made his EuroNASCAR debut at Oschersleben in 2023 and joined the series full-time in 2024. Since then, he has been a regular guest on the Rookie Trophy podium. Schaak’s background is in GT racing, but the German has found a new home in EuroNASCAR, the most exciting and cost-effective racing series in Europe. Infected by the V8 virus, Schaak made an early commitment to the championship and the 34-year-old is eager to make it into the top-10 overall in 2025.
“I’m really happy about the early extension with Bremotion and I’m excited to continue my NASCAR adventure. I have been in motorsports for 25 years now and EuroNASCAR is the best series I have raced in. The driver makes all the difference and it’s just pure racing. I love the atmosphere and the whole stage that the series has created for the drivers. The competitors are nice and that is how motorsports should be. That is why I started racing and NASCAR has it all. Bremotion has impressed me and I’m happy to continue with them. Thanks to all my partners who make this adventure possible.”
Bremotion team owner Patrick Brenndorfer said: “We are very happy to continue with Dominique for the 2025 EuroNASCAR season. He has proven that he has what it takes to improve and develop in the right way. His results in the Rookie Trophy are promising and he showed a glimpse of his true potential at Oschersleben. He’s an important part of the team and supports us with off-track projects. He brought 300 guests and incredible partners to the track. We want to continue with him for the long term and we’re happy to be able to announce him so early.”
