Eight EuroNASCAR personalities will join the celebrations in “NASCAR country” – 2024 Champion Vittorio Ghirelli will be recognized on stage during the Cup Series banquet
- NASCAR Euro Series champions and Trophy winners will be recognized on stage in Charlotte during the NASCAR Awards ceremonies
- Vittorio Ghirelli will be featured in the NASCAR Awards Cup Series ceremony
- The NASCAR Euro Series delegation will enjoy a trip in “NASCAR Country”, visiting Hendrick Motorsports, the Charlotte Motor Speedway and the NASCAR Hall of Fame
The 2024 season will close with the traditional NASCAR Awards ceremonies and NASCAR Champion’s week will return to Charlotte, USA with all events taking place at the Charlotte Convention Center and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Champions from all NASCAR Series will gather to celebrate the outstanding protagonists of 2024 and a delegation of NASCAR Euro Series champions and trophy winners will make the trip and join the end-of-season festivities.
NASCAR will reward the champions and the trophy winners of the NASCAR International Series on Thursday, November 21, with a special banquet while the 2024 EuroNASCAR Champion Vittorio Ghirelli will also be recognized at the NASCAR Awards on Friday, November 22 on the stage of the ceremony rewarding Cup Series Champion Joey Logano. The Italian will receive his well deserved champion ring and the beautiful Tijey Trophy in front of the NASCAR community.
The ice on the cake for Ghirelli will be unveiling a plate with his name in the Whelen Hall of Champions inside the NASCAR Hall of Fame together with Whelen Vice President of Motorsport Peter Tiezzi.
The NASCAR Euro Series delegation going to Charlotte will include: EuroNASCAR PRO Champion Vittorio Ghirelli (PK Carsport), EuroNASCAR OPEN runner-up Patrick Schober representing also the Endurance Teams Championship winning organisation of RDV Competition, Challenger Trophy winner Dario Caso (Vict Motorsport), Rookie Trophy winner Victor Neumann (Marko Stipp Motorsport) and Club Challenge season winner Federico Monti (Academy/Alex Caffi Motorsport). Hendriks Motorsport will be represented by Team Owner Roy Hendriks and two EuroNASCAR stars: Liam Hezemans and Gil Linster.
TEAM FJ will be represented by President and CEO Jerome Galpin, Vice President Competition and Marketing Anne Galpin, Sporting and Technical Director Joe Balash and PR Manager Gian Luca Guiglia.
The delegation will take a trip to the heart of “NASCAR Country” thanks to a series of activities prepared by TEAM FJ, owner and organiser of the NASCAR Euro Series. The group will visit the Hendrick Motorsports headquarters, the Charlotte Motor Speedway and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, fully enjoying the unique atmosphere of a city living and breathing NASCAR in every moment.
The NASCAR Euro Series is delighted to have their champions and top drivers taking part in one of the most exciting post-season events in all of motorsports.
