After making his debut in 2019 at Franciacorta, Cappelli is back in NWES full-time in 2022 in the EuroNASCAR PRO championship, chasing the Challenger Trophy. The Italian finished 14th in EuroNASCAR 2 with two top-5 and five top-10 finishes. In EuroNASCAR PRO, Cappelli finished 18th with two top-10 finishes.


2023: EuroNASCAR 2 with Race Art Technology, finished the season on 10th in the standings

2024: Joins Academy / Alex Caffi Motorsport to compete for the EuroNASCAR 2 title and the Legend Trophy
